Djente di Kacho (coconut candy)

Djente di Kacho (literally translated: tooth of a dog) is one of the many 'kos dushi' that you can buy in the Antilles. The original recipe comes from Jamaica, where this candy is called Coconut Drops.

It's really easy to make yourself – serve this at a party and everyone will think you've just traveled and brought a few pieces from the sunny Antilles.

THE RECIPE FOR DJENTE DI KACHO:

The recipe of the traditional Antillean 'djente di kachó' can be found in our cookbook 'The complete Antillean kitchen'. Did you know that there are no less than 300 (!) recipes in that book from the kitchen of Aruba, Bonaire en Curaçao?
