The Mojito has its roots in Brazil of course – but with so many Caribbean flavors (lime, white rum and mint) we didn't want to withhold it from you.
This cocktail is ideal for mixing with more fruit. Strawberry, watermelon and pineapple juice can all be mixed well with the Mojito!
- 150ml white rum
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- 10 sprigs of mint
- the juice of 2 limes
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- Spa red
- 100ml water
- for decoration: a few leaves of mint and a slice of lime
Boil the sugar with some water to a simple syrup.
Let the syrup cool.
Mix the syrup with the rum, the leaves of the mint sprigs, the lime juice and the ice cubes in a blender.
Mix the ingredients together briefly. Some pieces of ice and mint may remain.
Pour the contents of the blender over 4 glasses.
Fill each glass with a little bit of spa red.
Decorate the glasses with a leaf of mint and a slice of lime.
