We make our 'li' in all kinds of flavors, but this version with caramel is a very tasty one! We cook a pudding that tastes like ko'i lechi and freeze it in the classic moulds.
These simple ice creams are certainly a success. You can freeze them in small plastic cups (with or - traditionally without - ice cream stick). You can find the recipe for li di caramel on page 129 of the cookbook Nos Kushina Moderno.
