Bolo di cassava – Cassava cake

door Linda Terrizzi

Bolo di cassava… Surinamese Bojo.. Jamaican Pone.. in the end we all mean the same thing: a delicious cake made from grated cassava. The coconut gives the cake a delicious, Caribbean taste!

The cassava in this recipe is mixed with sugar, spices and coconut so that the end result is irresistible. A tasty, firm cake that is also completely gluten-free.

RECIPE FOR THE BOLO DI CASSAVA

You will find the recipe for 'Bolo di Cassava' in the cookbook Nos Kushina Moderno. In that book you will also find many more goodies… from soups to main courses and from cakes to snacks.

By the way, did you know that it also contains 6 beautiful portraits of 'Antilleans in the Netherlands' with their secret family recipe? We visited 6 beautiful people and shared their life story and a special recipe. The portraits are my personal favorite.

On the product page of the book, you can already browse each page in a short video. You can also download the table of contents there. Very easy!
