The book launch of our new cookbook 'The complete Antillean kitchen' was on 11 May at the Donner bookshop in Rotterdam. From 16:00 pm to 17:30 pm you could go there to get your copy of the book, have it signed, taste something delicious and of course take some photos.
What a party it was! So many people came by that day whom until then we only 'knew' through the internet. Some people have been following us for years and others "just joined", but without exception it was great to see you there!

Chef Helmi Smulders
To top it off, chef Helmi Smeulders also stopped by. She also had a book presentation in Rotterdam that day and she came to offer us a copy of her new book. That was, of course, an exchange.
Helmi has lived and worked up for 20 years Curaçao as a chef in her own restaurant. In addition, she made 2 cookbooks with recipes using local, Curaçaonatural ingredients… with its own twist of course!
